Cabinet
The work of the famous English clockmaker, Thomas Tompion (1639-1713), has inspired the elegant simplicity of the '`Blenheim''. The casework reflects Tompion's preference for plainer walnut decoration with book-matched burrs and figured cross-banded edging. The hood is decorated with barley twist pillars and hand cut fretwork.
