Extensive use of stringing and corner inlays enhance the superb flame mahogany veneers. The scroll pediment is decorated with wheat motifs and crowned with a fine cast brass eagle. The case features ''Corinthian'' fluted pillars to the hood, reeded quarter columns to the trunk and ''French Hepplewhite'' splayed feet. The painted dial features a rocking ship that marks the swing of the pendulum.Bevelled glasses.
