Cabinet
The hood, pillars, doors, mouldings and foot are solid wood. The side panels are Yew veneer. The base fascia has a black lined 'crown cut' inlay panel with a cross-banded Yew veneer surround. This model has a fluted quarter cut décor on the waist fronts, seated in polished solid brass cups.

Finish
The cabinet is stained in Yew colour then has several coats of lacquer giving a high polish finish.

Mechanism
The mechanism is an 8-day, 94cm weight driven movement, with three Chimes, Westminster, Whittington and St. Michael. The chimes can also be silenced.

Dial
The dial has a Silver Chapter Ring with Roman numerals and rotating constellation moon-phase.

Fittings
Solid brass pillar cups, hinges, quarter cups, door-knobs and escutcheon. The bottom door has a lock and key fixing.

Glass/Pendulum
Plain glass top and bottom doors. 94cm Lyre pendulum with 140mm brass bob.
